Beautiful Boudoir

Oh I just had to share this with you all.

(Image scanned from S Magazine)

My friend Barbie just sent me the most amazing clipping from yesterdays S Magazine, she said she thought of me when she saw it!
This is one of the images, I love the patchwork wall paper, such a cleaver idea for someone who just can't decide on one pattern, maybe I could re do my spare room??
I hope you enjoy the image as much as me.
Have a lovely week.
Luv
PS. I have just found out that this beautiful image is from a wonderful stylist Selina Lake.
She has a beautiful Blog so if you want to see more loveliness pop over to her here. xxx

I adore that wallpaper collage - great if you have naughty children/pets as you can cover up damaged or scruffy areas in a jiffy !!!

I grew up with a friend in the UK who's mum was German. Her dad worked on different farms, so over a period of time they lived in several different cottages.

I remember many of the rooms, had patterned wallpaper just like that, made up from disgarded wallpaper sampler books. Also patchwork rugs from carpet samplers. Their little cottages always looked like a ban box, just lovely.

I don't know if you can get those sample books now.

Pretty, pretty! My dad used to give me wallpaper sample books to play with as a child (you can see where I get it from...) - wish I had them now, I could use them like this!

I have seen this photo before, it is gorgeous and as you say, great for anyone who can not choose just one wallpaper (like me!) Those roses on the pink background really stand out dont they, so pretty!

Right thats it!
I am off to collect lots of gorgeous wallpaper samples so I can recreate that....x
P.s. Did you get a mixer? Mine is ready to die!
I would love the Red Kitchen Aid, but need to save a fair few pennies before it will be able to grace my kitchen worktops...x
