London Calling

My week was planned out nicely, only one outing in the diary until..........
The phone rang, and Gemma said
“If I can get tickets to go Ice Skating at Sommerset House tomorrow evening!!! Do you want to go???"
Then the phone went dead!!!
Hello!
Well I say, ask a stupid question!! Of course I want to go.
So I sheepishly asked for a half day, the boss man he say yes.
So I picked up my coat at 1.45pm on Tuesday and tootled out the office door, to the train station.
Trained it up to town, with plenty of magazines to read Trash & Interior's, of course.
I had time to pop in to Liberties, where I saw this beauty.
A bit out of my price range but beautiful.

Then I met my little sister, and we popped to John Lewis. Which I have to say was quite disappointing, not the haberdashery department that it was!
And then the race was on to get to Sommerset House.
The Winter Olympics was being launched at Sommerset House by Adidas, So no Tiffany’s I'm afraid but the giant UJ made up for it.

Now when I said "Of course I want to go" that didn't necessarily mean the skating part!!!
But some how I was dragged onto the Ice, by Gemma & Lil Sis.
I made it round 3 times, with more confidence on each circuit.

It was great fun, with a great atmosphere, everyone was having fun.
We made a little trip to Primark for a few essentials.
Then back to Victoria on the Bus, which is very novel as I normally get the tube everywhere in London.
We got back home late, which isn't good for a school night, but what’s a girl to do??
Wear more concealer to work the next day, was the plan.
More from my week tomorrow, Wednesday was equally exciting.
Not sure what I've done to be having all this fun, but it’s been good so far.

Luv

PS Not sure what has been going on with my blog.
Sorry If you couldn't see it for a while.
My counter has reset it's self which is a little odd!!
But It seems to be OK now - Fingers Crossed xxx

I went ice skating once,in London. I thought it would be so easy as I was a whizz on roller skates!
I had one big shock and found it soooo difficult!!
Glad to be able to get back on your blog as I couldn't for a day or two.
