Poorly Mini.................

Have you ever had something you love, break?
Have you ever not loved it as much because it is broken?
When your pride & joy cost's you the price of a luxury holiday to some far flung place, with cocktails & massages & chocolates on the pillow.
Well I finally feel that I can write about poorly Mini, it has taken me 4 days to do so.
She had some warning lights come on last week in the snow, they looked angry so I phoned the mechanics and they said bring her to us now!
She had some diagnostic work done and she had a majour problem with her internal computer.
Friday afternoon was not good for me, apparently I went pale whilst on the phone to the garage.
This problem is what has cost me the price of a luxury holiday.
So all in all, I am missing my Mini, my side kick, my wheels......
And although she has cost me a small fortune to fix she is mine and will hopefully live a lot longer when she is fixed.
Sorry to whitter on, I know it's not a life or death situation but I had to let you know.
I do still love my car despite her cost, she is my freedom, my independance, my shopping buddy.
(although maby no shopping for a while??)
Hope your having a good week & that nothing breaks for you.
Luv

P.S Where has spell checker gone?

I can totally relate. Yesterday, all our cars weren't working. Luckily my hubby patched them up. Glad yours is fixed, too bad about the holiday! Hope the rest of the week is sunny for you!

Shame about your holiday but at least you still have your freedom to get out and about! Think if you didn't!!
Take care ;-)

Oh I hope your poor baby gets well soon! I ADORE minis. My first car was a mini, the old style (obviously 'cos i'm ancient!), but it was the most fantastic little car. The old style have bums like a baby and they are so cute. I was terribly sad to see it go. I would love a new style one but size of family permits something larger, so can just admire others these days! xxx

Hope she's feeling better soon (and who wants exotic holidays anyway)?! Thanks so much for stopping by. Reading you 'about me' makes me think we have a lot in common.xx

As for your bank account, well time is a great healer! (as long as you steer clear of the shops!)

Hope you are having a better week.

Oh, how I know how you feel! I have a mini too and it is my favourite thing! Mine was kept in the garage since before christmas beacuse of all the snow. First day out yesterday, top down on the way home in 2 degrees, cold ears but sooo worth it!!
Hope you get it back soon!
